Automotive Mechanic – Full Time

Garland, Texas

Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Some Saturdays)

Full-Time (Hourly) $28-$32/HR

Position Overview

RideShare Carz is seeking a dependable and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Garland, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. This position requires a strong commitment to attendance, punctuality, and readiness to work each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform standard vehicle maintenance services including oil changes, brake pad replacements, tire rotations, fluid checks and motor/transmission swaps
• Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues on vehicles
• Conduct multi-point inspections to identify potential problems or repairs needed
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding vehicle status and needed repairs
• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify vehicle issues

Requirements

• Prior experience as an automotive technician or mechanic preferred
• Skilled knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures
• Ability to work Monday–Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM consistently and some Saturdays from 9-5
• Strong commitment to a consistent 40 hour work week
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment including warm summer temperatures and cold winter temperatures

Compensation

This is a full-time hourly position. Pay is competitive and based on experience.
